Following the first installment on Radar, DJ Argue brought part 2 off his own back to a cellar somewhere in Shoreditch. We saw dubs flying around everywhere and this was the time we got to see who was brave enough to step up to the mark. The clash everyone was talking about.
Ten Dixon kicked things off and asked who's ready to war. We then saw the youngest MC grab the mic and take on the reigning champ, SBK.
Things got warmed up when Micofcourse and RD started barring, before Tommy B and Jay 0117 stepped it up. Tommy went in at multiple victims, with Ten Dixon and Micofcourse recieving stray shots.
All the way from Bristol, Jay gets an instant wheel whilst drawing for Tommy. A very entertaining toe-to-toe to get things running.
We then saw Ten Dixon draw for Omega, with the 17-year-old saying 'he just shouts'. Ten then responds with ferocious bars with "who's this Harry potter guy?"
Flirta D rocks up like warpspeed during RD's bar 'Hell In The Cell, Flirta D you can get it as well'. Great timing from the grime veteran as everyone comes to terms with what just happened and contemplate their sends for him.
Flirta says “trying to draw out the legend yana, you lot are cheeky” before unleashing that one of a kind flow to get everyone jumping.
Everyone lines up to take shots, with Micofcourse and Ten Dixon taking the chance to go at the legend himself.
We then see Ten Dixon step it up and go at just about everyone in the room, whilst RD does the unthinkable, drawing for the helpless DJ Argue behind the decks. He definately needed some dub plates to reply with!
It was very much a cagey afair, but a new spark was needed. Step forward the new warlord and Mob Set member Renz.
Along with Squintz, the duo show their worth and defend their corner by sending shots at RD and Ten Dixon - there was no way they weren't going to put up a fight. We then see SBK and Omega take some of the ammo which then becomes a very cagey afair at the end with a misunderstanding of bars from Omega. No malice at the ending, but it just shows you how much of a war it was. The two MC's have since moved on from the heat in the moment...
This clash was certainly one for the history books as everyone, who was brave enough to step forward and take on Ten Dixon, showed their worth. Micofcourse took the trophy by a fine margin and it was great to see Flirta D come through.
The event as a whole definately lived up to the hype and grime fans will certainly be looking forward to seeing that raw clashing reminiscent of the Lord of The Mics days in the near future.
