Subten continues his hard graft and gives us his second official release of the year, taking a little help from the lovely Nia-V on this fully grown tune ‘London Roads’.
The song is describing Subtens journey, pointing out his feelings of where he saw himself in the scene and what he done get to the position he finds himself in now.
Subten sits comfortably on a Jazzy, Neo soul esque instrumental using a Rhodes lead and a subtle drum pattern with light vocal stabs. The beat (produced by Blue Canariñho) puts your mind in a state of relaxation which helps you take in the vocals with ease.
Could these tracks be a pre-curser to a full project? I hope so, the last one (‘The Subway’) was in 2017 and we’re hungry for more!
